Forklift Operator

Our client is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join their recycling scrap metal yard in West Burleigh. This role is suitable for an experienced Forklift Operator who is seeking Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:00PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move scrap metal bins
• Transport bins to and from the weigh scales
• Accurately communicate weights to the admin team
• Assist customers during drop-off in a professional manner
• Maintain a clean and safe yard environment
• Support general yard duties as required

What We’re Looking For

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
• Ability to work independently in a yard environment
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical
